Blown castor oil is a polymerized castor oil won by oxidation with atmospheric oxygen in heat.

Used as a non-volatile and non-migrating plasticizer in appropriate varnish raw
materials. Another application sector for blown castor oil is for special
hydraulic oils and further - like castor oil - as a polyol component in
polyurethane systems.
